Agapanthus inapertus x praecox 'Purple Cloud'
APPEARANCE: 'Purple Cloud' is a large variety of agapanthus with stunning amethyst flowers. Agapanthus are structured plants with large rounded clusters of blooms on tall flower spikes.
USES: Plant as a border in formal and cottage style gardens. Suited to large containers too! Agapanthus are surprisingly hardy and worth a go in most protected areas but will prefer full sun to part shade. Plant in a well drained soil, mulch and fertilise when planting but not too rich in organic matter and go easy with the fertiliser. Tolerates dry periods once established.
CARE: Hardy and low maintenance. If clumps become large, simply remove extra plants and share with the neighbours or plant elsewhere in the garden.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5-2m H x 1.5m W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide
