Banksia serrata - saw leafed banksia, old man banksia
DESCRIPTION: Australian Native tree with large rugged leaves and bird attracting green-cream flowers in summer and autumn.
USE IN: Ideal used in coastal landscapes and street-scaping.
LOCATION: Plant in a sunny position in the garden in well drained soil. Drought tolerant once established.Tolerates wind and salt spray.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune after flowering to promote dense growth habit.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: Up to 15m H x 4m W.
PLEASE NOTE: These are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height including the pot height of 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
