Bauhinia corymbosa - orchid vine
DESCRIPTION: Sub-tropical evergreen climber/groundcover suited to sunny spots with moderate water. Climbing Bauhinia puts on a brilliant display with fragrant pink orchid shaped blooms early summer!
USE IN: Perfect as a groundcover in areas where weeds are a problem, they'll be smothered in no time!  Also suited to trellises and cascading down embankments.
LOCATION: Plant in a full sun/part shade position in the garden in well drained soil.
CARE: Plant in well drained soil in a full sun position for bountiful flowers. Train and stake as required and trim to shape after flowering. Tolerates dry conditions and light frost once established.
HEIGHT AND WIDTH: 3-4m H x 3-4m W. Much lower if kept as a ground cover - will clip to 50cm if required.
PLEASE NOTE: These are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height including the pot height of 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
