Brunfelsia latifolia Compacta
DESCRIPTION: This gorgeous evergreen, shrub is slow growing and sits around an average height of 1m. It features dense green, oval shaped leaves with a variety of beautifully perfumed lavender, and white shades of flowers that bloom between September & November.
USES: Great for specimen planting in small gardens. Screening plant.
PLANTING: Plant singularly or 30 cm apart depending on the likes of your garden. Be sure to mulch and water well.
CARE: Warm climates are preferred by this plant but worth a go in sheltered site around Sydney. Suited to a full sun position in the garden. Prune after flowering to maintain form and encourage a full flush of flowers next season. Fertilise during spring with a slow release fertiliser.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1 m H x 1 m W.
PLEASE NOTE: These are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height including the pot height of 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
