APPEARANCE : Large bright dark red flowers in spring and summer on a large shrub.
ORIGIN : Native to NSW, QLD, VIC
USE FOR :In native gardens to attract birds.  Ideal as a clipped privacy hedge and in massed plantings.
CLIMATE : Will tolerate light frost once established. Cold, heatwave, and drought will reduce flowering.
PLANTING : Very hardy and forgiving in all types of soil.  Prefers full sun but will tolerate dappled shade.
CARE : Prune after flowering and feed with a native fertiliser.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 3m-5m H x 2m W.
