Camellia sasanqua 'Exquisite'

APPEARANCE : Tissuey palest-pink highly fragrant flowers with golden stamens in autumn-winter; evergreen leaves, upright dense habit. Sasanqua Camellias have smaller leaves and more dense foliage than the Japonica varieties. They are more sun tolerant, better in warmer climates, and earlier flowering.
USE FOR : Ideal for screens, hedges, espaliers. Feature planting and informal hedges
CLIMATE : Should come through a light overnight frost once established.
PLANTING : Sunny or partly shaded sheltered position with morning or afternoon sun. Sheltered spots will help the fragrance reach you. Plant in a free-draining acid to neutral pH soil rich in organic matter. A potting mix rich with humus is ideal added at the time of planting.
CARE : Mulch and water well, prune after flowering and fertilise in Spring.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
