Classic Japanese paperwhite camellia with large wavy-petal flowers each with a golden centre. Pollinating insects love these open-style flowers, great for hedging around fruit and vegetable plots.

Much better in warmer climates than japonica camellias, the sasanquas are delicately scented, evergreen, and make excellent screens and hedges.
