This one is low-growing, perfect for mass planting and lawn substitutes. Steep flowers in boiling water for a few minutes to enjoy a calming night-cap.

Chamaemelum nobile, Anthemis nobilis - Roman chamomile

DESCRIPTION: Medicinal herb with soft ferny foliage flowering in white daisy-like flowers. This one is a low-growing form ideal for lawn and ground cover.
PLANTING: Spring-Summer and Winter in warmer locations. Sow seeds directly into their final position onto the soil surface; thin at approx 5cm in height. A full sun location is ideal, suited to container planting.
USE IN: Plant in rockeries as a border or containers for charming potted colour.Pick mature flowers and steep in boiling water for 5 mins for a soothing fruity fragranced tea.
CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established and only occasionally as plants mature to avoid wet feet. Mulch plants to retain moisture in the soil. Apply liquid fertiliser regularly for best results. Protect plants from frost.
