Crepe myrtle - Lagerstroemia 'Lipan'
DESCRIPTION: Soft blue-pink flowers feature during summer on this deciduous shrub, perfect for feature planting. Vigorous growing variety with smooth grey bark and an upright growth habit. Resistant to powdery mildew.
LOCATION: Plant in a full sun position in the garden grouped with our other crepe myrtle varieties for loads of summer colour.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 8-12 weeks until the plant is established, then during dry periods until the plant develops a trunk. Prune in autumn following leaf drop for prolific summer flowering and a dense growth habit; or deadhead after first flowers to keep an elegant shape and encourage a second flower flush. Fertilise using a slow release fertiliser twice yearly, thrive in clay soils.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 3.5m H x 3.5m W.
PLEASE NOTE: These are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height including the pot height of 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
