Goji berry

Quick Overview

Superfood berry, delicious when dried. Plants look festive in autumn when covered in the tiny fresh red berries. Grow them as you would bush tomatoes, with a good pruning after fruiting to keep them in shape and encourage new growth.

Goji berry Lycium

DESCRIPTION: Herbaceous small-leaved plant in the potato-tomato-eggplant family. Tiny cream or lilac flowers turn into small oval red fruits in autumn
USES: Grown for the vitamin-C-rich berries which some say have superfood properties.
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded location in free draining soil. For best results dig well composted manure through the soil prior to planting.
CARE: Apply a good layer of mulch after planting, this helps to keep the shallow root system cool and moist. Prune to encourage fruiting stems and stop legginess. Treat unwanted garden pests with organic eco-oil.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1-2m H x 1m W
YOUR PLANTS: These are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height including the pot height of 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
