Liriope giganteum, Liriope muscari 'Evergreen Giant' - lilyturf, monkey grass

APPEARANCE : Perennial grassy plant. Rich green strappy foliage on clumping plants with pale purple flower spikes in summer and autumn followed by deep blue berries.
USE FOR : Great as a border, shady beds, mass planting, for under-planting where layering is used to create depth.
CLIMATE : Frost hardy to -10C, tolerates dry spells and humidity.
PLANTING : Full sun or shade. Plant in free draining soil rich in organic matter; will tolerate poor soils.
CARE : Liriopes are low maintenance. Mulch and water well after planting. Feed with a controlled release fertiliser after flowering for best results. Trim yearly before new growth appears.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH : up to 60 cm H x 60 cm W.
