APPEARANCE: Hardy evergreen ornamental grass, compact in habit with narrow leaves and conical pale pink flower spikes in summer, darker in bud and pale when fully open. A great alternative to mondo grass in full sun locations, thrives equally in full shade locations.
USE FOR : Plant as a showy border, lawn replacement between stepping stones, in containers or among taller rockery plants. Its spreading habit makes it ideal for erosion control and weed suppressing.
PLANTING : Plant in a full sun to shaded location in free draining soil.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly for the first 12 weeks until the plant establishes. Trim to ground level yearly in late winter for fresh new regrowth and extended flowering season. Tolerates drought, frost and extended wet periods once established.
