Adiantum raddianum fragrans - maidenhair fern

DESCRIPTION: Lush lacy foliage on glossy dark stems. A favourite fern variety as it is so versatile and visually appealing.
USE IN: Shaded, moist areas of the garden, ferns just love humidity. Perfect indoor plant, just remember to give the foliage a quick spray with water during dry times and avoid over watering.
PLANTING: Plant carefully ensuring the crown of the fern is above the soil line. Ensure the growing medium is well drained to avoid wet feet. Remove old fronds to keep plants looking fresh and avoid disease. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks.
CARE: Protect from frost and keep moist during dry periods. Ferns thrive in humid conditions. Apply a slow release fertiliser during spring and a liquid based fertiliser every 4 weeks during the warmer months, take care to dilute your solution to half the recommended dose to avoid burn. Re-pot container plants only if they are outgrowing their pots.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  15 - 50 cm H x 50 cm W.
PLEASE NOTE: These plants are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height with a pot size of 42 mm wide and 80 mm high.
