Monstera deliciosa - fruit salad plant

DESCRIPTION: Stunning foliage plant ideal for shaded areas. Leaves may reach up to 1metre, each uniquely shaped. Fruit is slow to ripen, almost a year and is just as unique as the foliage, sweet, juicy with an almost prickly feel.
USE IN: Plant as a striking feature in tropical garden settings or keep indoors in a large pot.
LOCATION: Plant in free draining soil rich in organic matter in a part-full shade location for lush green foliage. Protect from frost.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly during the first 12 weeks until the plant is established. Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser yearly to ensure luscious growth. A dousing of liquid fertiliser monthly in hot climates will keep the foliage looking great. For potted plants, avoid over watering - weekly in cool climates and more often in warmer areas. Spray foliage with a trigger spray to freshen indoor plants.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5-2.5 m H x 1-2 m W.
PLEASE NOTE: These plants are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height with a pot size of 42 mm wide and 80 mm high.
