The brightest red one. Ruby red new leaves and glossy dark green mature foliage make this a lovely shrub, hedge or screening plant.

Our nursery has multiple hedges of it which always look handsome. Clip to shape regularly for maximum colour or leave to enjoy the white flowers. Glabra Rubens has a less dense growth habit than Red Robin, making it a popular choice as a light screen.

We love Glabra Rubens for its bright scarlet colour, glossy foliage, cold and heat tolerance
