Description

Syzygium 'Sunset' - lilly pilly

APPEARANCE : Medium sized lilly pilly featuring bursts of vibrant bronze-red new growth. Fast growing shrub with small flowers and bird attracting berries.
USE FOR : Native gardens as a screening and formal hedging plant. Suitable for containers.
LOCATION : Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden in well drained soil. Hardy shrub, tolerates light frost and dry conditions once established.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune at least three times a year to encourage dense growth and flushes of new foliage. We encourage tip pruning these plants when young for maximum bushiness. Apply a native slow release fertiliser during spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 3m H x 2m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These plants are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. You can see an example in the image gallery
