Thuja plicata Fastigiata also known as Western Red Cedar

DESCRIPTION: Beautiful tree featuring scented pine like foliage and a conical growth habit. The dense foliage makes it ideal for screening.
USES: Perfect for hedging or feature planting. Try growing in a container and use as a Christmas tree.
PLANTING: Tolerates most soil types and planting conditions including seaside and alkaline soil. Plant in full sun to maximise vibrancy of the new growth. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter.
CARE: Mulch and water well during dry periods. Prune regularly for fresh new growth. Prefers cool climates.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: up to 10 m H x up to 6 m W. slow growing, up to 5 metres in the first 10 years
PLEASE NOTE: These are tube-stock plants, with the benefit of being a young plant they will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height including the pot height of 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
