Anigozanthos - kangaroo paw

Kangaroo paw is one of Australia's iconic native flowers. Its distinctive furry flowers in bright shades of red, orange and yellow add a touch of the outback to the most urban of outdoor spaces. The National Botanic Gardens advises treating kangaroo paws as short-lived plants lasting 3 to 5 years. We recommend cutting your plants back to within about 10 cm of the ground in winter, and dividing larger clumps and replanting them, to keep plants healthy and living longer.
