Agapanthus orientalis 'Blue' APPEARANCE: Seed grown blue flowering variety. Agapanthus are beautifully structured plants with wonderful blooms on tall flower spikes. PLANTING: Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position in the garden for maximum flowering period. Elegant, stately and architecturally pleasing and great for massed plantings in the garden for a splash of flowering colour through summer. Mulch and water well until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. CARE: Prune spent flowers to encourage dense growth habit and continued flowering. Reapply mulch and apply a slow release fertiliser during spring. Hardy and low maintenance. Lift and divide when clumps get too large. HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5 m H x 0.8 m W.
