Agonis flexuosa "Jervis Bay Afterdark' - dark leaved willow myrtle
APPEARANCE : Medium-sized open airy native tree with grey-brown bark, maroon stems, very dark purple leaf colour, leaves are also more slender than the native green-leaf species.USE FOR : Hedging and edging, native gardens, wildlife gardens.
PLANTING : Full sun to light or dappled shade in any well-drained soil, especially sandy soils. This species does prefer moist, well-draining soils.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Feed with a slow release native fertiliser during spring.
