This native willow tree makes a handsome colourful feature plant left to develop a trunk or cut into an informal hedge to border your native garden. New leaves are a rich glowing rust red, and smell minty when crushed.

Larger size plant to get your garden off to a fast start.

Agonis flexuosa - willow myrtle

APPEARANCE :  Medium-sized native tree with small white flowers during spring and summer. New growth emerges lime and rust, then ages to a soft green. Native alternative to a Willow tree.
USE FOR : Hedging and edging, native gardens, wildlife gardens.
LOCATION : Full sun to light or dappled shade in any well-drained soil, especially sandy soils. This species does prefer moist, well-draining soils.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Feed with a slow release native fertiliser during spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  10 m H x 5 m W
YOUR PLANTS : These are larger than our usual tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot is 68 mm wide.
