Alocasia x amazonica dwarf - African mask plant, crocodile plant, kris plant

APPEARANCE : Exotic foliage plant with elephant ear-like leaves and contrasting white veins. This compact variety is perfect indoors in pots.
USE FOR : Popular houseplant for bathrooms, bedrooms, lounge rooms. Suited to shady underplanting in tropical gardens.
PLANTING: Protect from frost. Plant in a shaded location with plenty of filtered light or indirect sunlight. Alocasia plants thrive in free draining soil, check that pots have good drainage.
CARE: Water regularly during the first 12 weeks or until the plant is established. Apply liquid fertiliser at half rate every 4 weeks for best results. Remove the old leaves for a quick tidy up. Regular light watering and a daily spritz with water for indoor plants will keep them looking lush. Foliage may die back during the cooler months when plants become dormant. Avoid feeding and heavy watering again until plants develop new leaves. Repot during spring only if plants become rootbound, this is the ideal time to remove and repot any young shoots which have sprouted.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 30-40cm H x 45-50cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
