Alocasia zebrina - elephant's ear

APPEARANCE : Tropical rainforest foliage plant with very long green arrow-shaped leaves. Long white stems are striped with dark markings like a little zebra.
USES: Indoor feature plant - show it off in your best pot.
PLANTING:  At least half a day of good light, but not direct hot sun. The leaves will droop if it's too dark, or if it's dry. It may occasionally drip harmless sap so place it on tile or other surface you can clean.
CARE: Water little and often so the compost is just moist but not soggy. Mist it regularly if your climate is not naturally humid. Turn the plant every month or so if you are growing it indoors so it stays symmetrical.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1m H x 80cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
You can see an example in the image gallery.
