Anthurium 'White Winner'

DESCRIPTION: An evergreen tropical plant with decorative glossy foliage and brilliant white flowers above long stems during spring and autumn. Anthuriums, commonly named 'Flamingo Flowers' are popular used as a cut flower for their unique heart shape and exceptional vase life of up to three weeks.
USE IN: Tropical garden settings as a border or for creating depth using layers in under planting. Suited to containers and indoor gardens.
PLANTING: Plant in sheltered position, avoid direct sunlight. Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Protect from frost and provide plenty of water during dry periods. Plant away from areas where children and pets play as the leaves contain a poisonous substance. Avoid contact with skin.
CARE: For maximum flowering period provide plenty of bright, filtered light. Protect from frost and keep moist during dry periods. Anthuriums thrive in humid conditions. Apply a slow release fertiliser during spring and a liquid based fertiliser every 2-4 weeks during the warmer months, take care to dilute your solution to half the recommended dose to avoid burn. For indoor plants - wipe leaves gently with a damp cloth if you notice them collecting dust, this will refresh the foliage to it's usual glossy finish. Re-pot container plants at the beginning of spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  60-80 cm H x 60 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: Please note these are supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
