Thrift grows naturally on sea cliffs and rocks, so it can cope with dry soil, salt spray, and wind. This pretty little rockery plant is super-generous with flowers, and survives in tough locations like rooftop gardens, urban windowboxes, and waterwise gardens. Try it in an outback garden and see how you go as it is completely frost hardy. Larger size plant to get your garden off to a fast start. Comparison image shows pink thrift for illustration
