Armeria maritima 'Rosea' - pink thrift, sea thrift
APPEARANCE : Hardy, mat-forming, ground-hugging coastal evergreen with grass-like leaves and vibrant pink papery globe flowers. Colour may vary from rose pink to deeper pink.USE FOR : Rockeries, exposed locations, coastal gardens, rooftop gardens as well as garden borders.
CLIMATE : Frost, wind, and salt tolerant.
PLANTING : Full sun, free draining soil of any kind. The common name of thrift refers to the plant's ability to thrive in poor environments.
CARE: Provide plenty of water during the first 12 weeks or until the plant is established; water in very dry periods after that. Feed with liquid fertiliser monthly during spring and summer for lush coverage.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: Up to 30cm H x Up to 50cm W.
