Astilbes are very pretty plants with fine foliage and fluffy flowerspikes in summer; this variety is a neat compact size and a soft baby pink. Really cold-hardy.

APPEARANCE : Compact spires of fluffy soft pink flowers on straight red-coloured stems. Foliage is deep green, fine and ferny.USE FOR : Shaded borders and mixed beds, creek banks, pond margins.
CLIMATE : Really cold-hardy to Russian winter level. In sunny spots it will need more water; can tolerate dry soil in a shaded location. PLANTING : Plant bulbs with the narrow end facing upward, cover with a good layer of mulch to help regulate soil temperature. Astilbes love a moist spot with rich soil.
CARE : Once planted, water the soil to set the bulb in place. Water and feed weekly or if the soil becomes dry, give a good deep water. Contains 1 bulb.
