Description

Azalea AZAARE03 'Starstyle White'

APPEARANCE : Evergreen bushy compact shrub; slender-petalled white starry flowers with prominent orange anthers in spring and autumn.
USE FOR : In groups and low hedges; as a mass display of flowering colour. Suitable for pots and planters.
PLANTING : Azaleas love dappled, morning and/or afternoon sun, and will grow in shade although flowering less strongly. Plant in a free draining acid soil rich in organic matter. Starstyle azaleas are reputedly frost hardy when mature but will need protection when young.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Continue to water on a regular basis for the first twelve months to ensure the plant becomes fully established. Prune after spring flowering to promote dense growth habit and flowering next season, fertilise using a slow release fertiliser such as Osmocote which is specially formulated for azaleas.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH: 0.5m H x 0.5m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
