Elegant, airy, slender tree with pearly-white bark and delicate apple-green leaves that turn to a shower of gold in autumn. You can see why it's such a beloved tree! It's also a tree of northern and central European snow-covered forests, so it's very cold hardy for snowfield and southern locations. Lovely in cool-climate gardens.
