Many bromeliads are lairy and loud, and this is one of the lairiest and loudest! Full-on colour year-round indoors if you're somewhere cold, or outdoors if you're subtropical. Golden-lime leaves, streaked with blood red, pooling into a dramatic crimson heart.

Neoregelias are flat bromeliads, and the centre often fills with rainwater. Colour lasts for up to four months; when the central rosette dies back, little ones may take its place at the base.

Bromeliad - Neoregelia 'Blushing Tiger'

DESCRIPTION: Easy care plant for indoors or out; a lowgrowing rosette of strappy leaves, lime yellow, striped and coloured dark red in the centre. Please note your tubestock may arrive green and will develop the distinctive colours as it grows.
USES: Perfect for underplanting in shaded locations. Suited to pots too, indoors and out. Stunning display when mass planted. Can be attached to trees for vertical displays.
PLANTING: Plant in free draining soil in pots or out in the garden, taking care to keep the crown above the soil. Protect plants from harsh sun; enjoys shade where its colour may be deeper.
CARE: Bromeliads love warm  humid conditions. Water by simply filling the centre of the plant. After flowering bromeliads generally begin to die back. By this time plants will have developed pups which will take the place of the original plant. Fertilise during spring with an organic liquid feed mixed at half rate.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 30cm H x 50cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
