Capsicum California Wonder organic - seed
Capsicum annuum
DESCRIPTION: Classic large bell pepper for eating raw or cooked, ripens to red.
PLANTING: Spring-Summer and Winter in warmer locations. Sow seeds directly into seed raising mix or plant in their final position & thin at approx 5cm in height. A full sun location in free draining soil is ideal.
USE IN: Eat raw in salads for sweet-zesty flavour or char-grill to create rainbow pepper antipasto.
CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established and only occasionally as plants mature to avoid wet feet. Mulch plants to retain moisture in the soil. Harvest regularly to encourage more fruit. Cut the stem approx 2cm above the pepper. Protect plants from frost and apply liquid fertiliser regularly for best yield.
