Probably the nearest most of us will come to seeing real snow, this Snowflake waxflower will fill your garden with cool crisp white blossom in late winter and early spring, Each floret is dotted with a golden or dark centre, like thousands of tiny fairy lights.

APPEARANCE : Medium-sized native shrub from the west coast, withfine needle-like green leaves, and pale pink buds opening to abundant florets of ivory white in winter-spring.USE FOR : Native, seaside, and cottage gardens for flowering colour. Makes a beautiful cut flower
PLANTING : Plant in free draining soil in a sunny to partly shaded position in the garden, best flowering is achieved in full sun. Tolerates light overnight frost and is drought resistant once established. Prefers low humidity climates.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune lightly after flowering to encourage new growth and dense flowering next season, avoid cutting into old wood. Fertilise yearly using a slow release native fertiliser.
