Chamelaucium Alba - waxflower

Alba means white, and this native waxflower is a 2m cloud of white blossom in winter-spring, for you and the local wildlife to enjoy. One of the classic essential shrubs every native garden should have.

In SA TAS WA? We can't ship this to you for biosecurity reasons.

Most of our waxflowers are usually available for sale late January-early February onwards until they sell out; this one is a nice exception to that which you can plant now.

Chamelaucium uncinatum 'Alba' - Geraldton Wax, waxflower

APPEARANCE : Late season native waxflower hybrid; pure white blooms with a yellow centre. Tall growing variety with slender needle-like foliage typical of waxflowers.
USE FOR : Native, seaside, and cottage gardens for flowering colour. Wildlife-friendly plantings. Winter-spring garden borders. Excellent cut flower, trim a few stems and enjoy them indoors
LOCATION : Plant in free draining soil in a sunny to partly shaded position in the garden, best flowering is achieved in full sun. Suitable to exposed areas in most parts of Australia. Tolerates light frost and is drought resistant once established. Prefers low humidity climates.
CARE : Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune lightly after flowering to encourage new growth and dense flowering next season, avoid cutting into old wood. Fertilise yearly using a slow release native fertiliser.
