Chrysocephalum apiculatum Compact Form - yellow buttons
DESCRIPTION: A lovely prostrate form of the native ground cover with softly textured silver-green foliage and loads of sunny yellow flowers, cut and bring indoors to enjoy. Flowers in spring.USES: Perfect for rockeries, borders and mass planting as a ground cover. Found all over Australia so will adapt and grow in almost any soil and climate.
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun position in the garden to maximise flowering, though will tolerate part shade. Tolerates hot conditions with regular watering. Plant in well drained soil.
CARE: Mulch and water well during establishment. Remove spent flowers to encourage new growth. Apply a slow release native fertiliser after pruning.
