Cissus - aka kangaroo vine and grape ivy - is a lush, fast-growing, leafy indoor plant in cold climates, that looks great trained over a hoop frame, or trailing from a hanging pot. Cissus in warm climates is a lush fast growing groundcover that cools the soil and creates a green carpet, quick smart.
Ellen Danica has bigger leaves than the species form, with more indentations for a lacier, more decorative look

APPEARANCE : Fast-growing subtropical South American evergreen vine, self-clinging using tendrils. Dark green glossy leaves.USE IN: As a groundcover, scrambling through taller shrubs, over a trellis or pergola, indoors in pots.
CLIMATE : Frost free, sheltered; over 10C indoors
PLANTING : outside plant in sun or part shade; happy growing under trees. Likes moist loamy soils.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Reduce watering in winter; and let potted plants dry out a little between waterings so they are not continually moist. May be left to ramble naturally or pruned to shape for a neat appearance.
