Clerodendrum speciosum
- bleeding heart vine
DESCRIPTION: Lush tropical rambling vine with clusters of summer flowers in shade of wine-red, pink and coral, and deep green leaves. Butterfly attractor.
LOCATION: Plant in full sun to shade, and free draining soil rich in organic matter. Help it scramble with a trellis or wire support, or train it up an arbour. Makes a great informal screen. Salt-tolerant so suitable for seaside gardens
CARE: Mulch and water well until established. Feed with a controlled release fertiliser twice yearly. Water more frequently during dry summer heat. Protect from frost.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  1-4m H x 1-2m W.
PLEASE NOTE: These are tube-stock plants with young roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm in height including the pot height of 80 mm x 42 mm wide.
