Vibrant deep orange flowering variety with strappy evergreen foliage, flowers even in quite deep shade. Great indoors in pots too.

Clivia miniata 'Belgian Orange'

APPEARANCE : Strappy leaf evergreen clumping plant suited to shaded areas of the garden. Flowers late winter and early spring in clusters of vibrant orange trumpet-shaped flowers held high above the foliage, followed by red cherry-like seedpods. Broader leaves than the species form, and a deeper orange flower colour.
PLANTING : Clivia perform best in filtered light in any reasonable garden soil and will tolerate dry conditions once established. They will grow in dense shade but will not flower as well.
CARE : Prune spent flowers to encourage dense growth habit and continued flowering. Apply less water during the cooler months, this is known to encourage more flowering in spring. Reapply mulch and apply a liquid fertiliser at half the regular strength each spring. Protect from frost, cold conditions and hot afternoon sun. Lift and divide every 3-4 years or when clumps become large.
HEIGHT & WIDTH :  0.5 m H x 0.6 m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
You can see an example in the image gallery.
