Very handsome, very short, it's the Tyrion Lannister of the cordyline world. Richly-coloured wine-red foliage ideal for front of border or container planting.

APPEARANCE : Broadleaf subtropical foliage plant, generally around 1m or so, with an elegant silhouette. Leaves are an all-over rich wine-red colour, pinker when new.
USE FOR : For the tropical garden. As a contrasting plant in borders; in containers, as an accent.
PLANTING : Prefers sun to part shade. Plant in a well drained soil, mulch and fertilise when planting. Surprisingly tolerant of dry conditions but growth is restricted.
CARE : Remove dead foliage if required. Water in dry spells, feed with liquid fertiliser in spring.
HEIGHT & WIDTH : 1m H x 0.6m W.
