Is this the prettiest Cosmos you've ever seen? It certainly podiums, with those tissuey-white petals shading to pink, the deep rose centre, and the finishing touch of a golden yellow eye. Your summer-autumn borders will look dreamily romantic!
APPEARANCE: Flowering annual with delicate fern-like foliage and white flowers shading to a deep pink halo at the centre. Cosmos thrive in dry hot sites, ideal for mass planting in exposed garden beds. PLANTING: Sow spring & summer in most states and winter in northern states of Australia. Check the seed pack for detailed info on planting in your area. Sow seeds into seed raising mixture or direct into their final position, cover with a light layer of soil and keep moist. Thin seedlings if they become crowded & replant elsewhere. Plant in free draining soil in a full sun location for best flowering. CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established and continue to provide water especially during dry spells. Mulch plants to keep the shallow roots cool in summer. For an extra long flowering season, remove spent blooms and feed with liquid fertiliser.
