DESCRIPTION: Hardy perennial or annual with slender grey-green curled leaves and a mix of pink and bi-colour flowers, sometimes fringed, or with contrasting centres.. Suited to rockeries, cottage gardens and pots.
PLANTING: Spring and Summer, for hotter parts of Australia winter planting is recommended. Sow seeds into pots containing seed raising mix, gently press into soil and keep moist. Thin seedlings when plants have 2-4 leaves, plant in free draining soil in a full sun location for best flowering.
CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established and continue to provide water especially during dry spells. Mulch plants to keep the shallow roots cool in summer. For an extra long flowering season, remove spent blooms and feed with liquid fertiliser.Protect from frost.
