Like the neat-freak sister of wayward Topsy Turvy, Pinwheel Revolution takes the curly-leaf-look and neatens it into regular geometric rosettes that change colour from peach-grey to purple-blue with the seasons. Leaves emerge crisply folded in the centre, and gently open out to almost flat around the plant's edge, creating a 3D effect.
Very easy care, more so because this little succulent likes a nap in the winter months. Generous with its golden yellow flowers from a young age too.
Echeveria hybrid 'Pinwheel Revolution'APPEARANCE : Compact succulent with neat symmetrical rosette shape, almost like a waterlily. Silvery-blue in colour with a peach-pink blush in summer. This echeveria becomes dormant in winter when its purple-grey colouration becomes more prominent. Very similar in appearance to Echeveria Topsy Turvy, Pinwheel Revolution is a cultivar of Echeveria Pinwheel, distinguished by the pink blush to the foliage and the sunset-coloured, bell-shaped blooms on happy mature plants, produced during spring and summer.
USE IN: Great for rockeries, pots and indoors. Hardy and drought tolerant once established.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a bright position with indirect light. Protect from hot afternoon sun as the foliage can become sunburned.
CARE: Water when the top of the soil is dry; be careful not to overwater. Water around the plant or into its cachepot or saucer, not onto the rosette. Carefully pull away any dead dry leaves from the edge of the rosette. Smaller plants - 'pups' - around the base of large plants may be removed and replanted.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 15cm H x 15cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are tubestock plants with a healthy young root system and will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80 mm x 42 mm wide. Your plants may be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
