Eucalyptus deglupta - rainbow gum

DESCRIPTION: Unique gum displaying a fantastic multicolour rainbow of colour on its trunk as each season passes. Quick to establish growing up to 1 metre each year making it ideal for gardeners who want fast results. Originating in the Philippines where it's plantation grown.
USES: Plant as a feature, shade tree or for screening in large garden settings and acreages. Bear in mind this tree can reach 30 metres in height in garden situations, and 60 metres in tropical climates with regular rainfall and no cold season.
CARE: Stake and protect from strong wind and frost until the plant is established. Apply mulch and continue to water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks and regularly during extended dry periods.
PLANTING: Plant in free draining soil in a full sun to partly shaded location. Fertilise using native fertiliser early spring. Avoid clay soils.
HEIGHT:  60m H in optimal growing conditions
YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tube-stock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The average size of your plants will be 15 -25 cm including the pot height of 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
