Soft grey-green-white annual that looks beautiful planted en masse, as a feature plant in a pot, or as a gentle foil to brighter flowers. It's a Euphorbia so if you cut the stems for a vase, wash any sap off; or wear gloves if you have sensitive skin.
DESCRIPTION: Soft-leaved annual or short-lived perennial, rounded in outline, with spoon-shaped grey-green leaves, edged in white. Younger leaves have more white than older ones. PLANTING: Sow in Spring in frost areas, Autumn in frost-free areas at 15-20C. Sow seeds directly into garden beds or large pots, cover with soil and keep moist. Plant in free draining soil in sunshine or dappled shade. CARE: Water seedlings regularly until established and continue to provide water especially during dry spells. Mulch plants to keep the shallow roots cool in summer. For an extra long flowering season, remove spent blooms and feed with liquid fertiliser.
