This outstanding small ornamental grass has fine slender steel-blue foliage all year round; the neat compact rounded shape tucks into all kinds of spaces, and the colour looks beautiful when mass planted.

Festuca ovina glauca - blue fescue

APPEARANCE:Fine-leaved low-growing tussock grass with slender blue-grey foliage all year. Plants develop to a dense, rounded clump.
USES: Ideal used in rockeries, borders and cottage style gardens. Try planting within the foreground of a mixed selection of contrasting ornamental grass varieties for maximum impact.
PLANTING: Plant in a full sun or partly shaded position in the garden. Suited to container planting. Tolerates dry periods and cool climates., completely frost hardy
CARE: Mulch and water well until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Fertilise with a slow release fertiliser during spring. Clip it all over in late winter-early spring. Divide and replant every four or five years.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 50 cm H x 50 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS: These are larger than our usual tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot is 68 mm wide.
