We feel your pain - you looove fiddle leaf figs but you live in a small flat with no room for what could grow into a rainforest tree. The answer? Bambino! A baby-sized fig with all the lushness and greenery of its big brother, in a petite size. It shouldn't grow much taller than you, which makes it ideal for indoor and balcony enjoyment - and it's easy to make space for it outside if you're lucky enough to have a garden.
Ficus lyrata 'Bambino' - fiddle leaf fig
APPEARANCE: Dwarf form of the popular F. lyrata, more compact with smaller, thicker leaves than lyrata. Firm broad leaves with a curvy edge, reminiscent in shape of a violin, hence the common name.USE IN:  Easycare indoor, container or tropical garden plant. Needs a sheltered frost-free spot over 10C. Happy in tropical gardens, on a sheltered balcony, and indoors.
CARE: Mulch and water with a seaweed based fertiliser on planting to reduce transplant shock, follow with regular watering until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Apply a slow release fertiliser twice yearly and protect from frost. container plants may need extra feed and a repot into fresh soil once a year. Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to keep them healthy and looking good.

YOUR PLANTS: These plants are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide. May be supplied as 'plugs', slightly smaller than our usual tubestock but with a healthy root system ready for planting or potting on.
