Gaura lindheimeri , Oenothera lindheimeri pink

APPEARANCE : Herbaceous bushy perennial of Texas and Louisiana. Long slender stems with musk-pink butterfly-like flowers all along from spring until first frost. Note : In cold weather the leaves sometimes show coloured spots. This is an environmental reaction to temperature and nothing to worry about. The plants are healthy.
USE FOR : Mixed beds and borders, cottage gardens, meadow-style planting, waterwise gardens.
PLANTING: Plant in full sun with well draining soil. Mulch and water on a regular basis, until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Drought tolerant once mature; frost tolerant but may need mulching in snow zones in winter.
CARE: For an extra long flowering season, remove spent blooms and feed with liquid fertiliser. Plants flower better when they have been in place a year or two. Cutting plants hard back after flowering will prevent them self seeding.
HEIGHT & WIDTH:  50-150 cm H x 50 cm W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
You can see an example in the image gallery.
