Grevillea 'Ivanhoe'
DESCRIPTION: Vigorous native shrub spreading 3m high and 3-5m wide. Leaves are very toothed, flushed copper-brown in new growth. Purple-red brush flowers spring through to autumn.USE IN: Fast-growing screen, hedge, native wildlife garden. Makes a good fast-growing hedge or screen.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a full sun position in the garden to enjoy maximum flowering period. Very suitable for southern and inland parts of Australia where it is cooler.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Feed with a slow release native fertiliser when buds form - grevilleas can be phosphorus-sensitive so the P ratio of the fertiliser needs to be under 3%..
