Easy-going fast-growing native hedge with lovely foliage, and purple-red flowers over a long season that wildlife will appreciate and enjoy as much as you do. Ideal for cooler southern states and hinterland gardens further north.

Grevillea 'Ivanhoe'
DESCRIPTION: Vigorous native shrub spreading 3m high and 3-5m wide. Leaves are very toothed, flushed copper-brown in new growth. Purple-red brush flowers spring through to autumn.USE IN: Fast-growing screen, hedge, native wildlife garden. Makes a good fast-growing hedge or screen.
LOCATION: Plant in well drained soil in a full sun position in the garden to enjoy maximum flowering period. Very suitable for southern and inland parts of Australia where it is cooler.
CARE: Mulch and water regularly until the plant is established, usually around 12 weeks. Prune and apply a native controlled release fertiliser after flowering to promote dense growth habit.
