This shrubby spring-flowering native grows in the wild in forests and bushland from Queensland through NSW, Canberra, to Victoria, which means it's pretty resilient in a range of garden situations, and thrives in sandy and gravelly soils.
It grows alongside eucalypts, lemon bottlebrush, blackwood wattle, bauera and goodenia in the wild; we've linked some of its growing companions below so you can make it feel at home in your garden!
