Description

Hibiscus 'Cairo Red'

APPEARANCE : Vibrant red single blooms with rounded petals, on deep green foliage. Symbolic of tropical gardens. Flowers summer through to winter on a large size bush.
USE FOR : Ideal for hedges, massed planting or as a feature plant in your garden.
CLIMATE : Protect from frost. Enjoys humidity
PLANTING : Sunny sheltered position is ideal in the warmer parts of Australia. Shelter from strong winds and exposed sites. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter and not over wet. A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal added at the time of planting
CARE : Mulch and water well, prune and fertilise after flowering in spring.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.5 - 3 m H x 2 m W.
YOUR PLANTS : These are tubestock plants, healthy young plants with new roots that will establish quickly in your garden. The pot size is 80mm high and 42 mm wide.
