Hydrangea assorted
Stunning displays of flowers above lush large-leaf foliage, hydrangea is a most impressive shade-loving water-loving big shrub.
Our assortment includes mostly Mopheads: the most recognisable variety with large dome-shaped clusters of pastel flowers in pink or blue, occasionally white; and sometimes Lacecaps: as the name suggests, a delicate flowering form with lacy open clusters of florets. They are both beautiful and are sold as assorted. Treat yourself to a little surprise!
"Hello! I received my order of three hydrangeas, they were professionally packed (even though I will admit to scepticism). The plant stock was healthy with the surprise of your concentrated seaweed plant booster. I would like to say thank you, I will definitely be using your business again and will be telling our neighbours as well. Thanks again - I am delighted!"

Hydrangea macrophylla assorted
APPEARANCE: Spring-flowering shrub with large soft apple-green leaves and large rounded flower heads in shades of blue to pink, occasionally white. USE FOR : Shady garden borders, informal hedges, ideal for cottage gardens and containers.CLIMATE : Frost hardy; prefer cooler climates
PLANTING : Hydrangeas prefer a partly shaded or shaded position in the garden. Protect from harsh sunlight. The flower colour may be altered by changing the pH levels of the soil. As a general rule acid soil (pH 5 or below) produces blue flowers and neutral to alkaline (pH 6-7), produces mauve, pink through to red. These levels may be altered using lime and sulfur, lime reduces acidity and sulfur reduces alkalinity.
CARE : Water regularly during the first 8-12 weeks until the plant is established and and plenty of water during dry periods after that - hydrangeas are thirsty. A generous mulch will help keep roots cool. Apply a slow release fertiliser early spring. Macrophyllas flower on old wood so site them carefully to give them space to grow. Prune them by deadheading spent flowers back to a leaf joint.
MATURE HEIGHT & WIDTH : 1.5m H x 1.5m W average
